The Youth Social Action Group

We are dedicated to creating supportive, effective and engaging programmes for young people. We are lucky enough to have a Youth Social Action Group who provide us with a real insight into life as a young person. The group meets with a senior lead from The Apex Project frequently to discuss issues, solutions, programmes, events and any other ideas they have that will support young people.

Meet the Y.S.A.G leaders

Meet Mohamed, a driven 16-year-old resident of Camden with a passion for making a difference. As an aspiring entrepreneur, he has launched a new CIC focused on enhancing the lives of individuals facing neurodiverse challenges. Mohamed is committed to creating inclusive solutions that support better lifestyles and wellbeing. Alongside his social mission, he is deeply involved in music, using it as a powerful tool for expression. He spends much of his time at The Apex Studios, not only developing his own sound but also mentoring and encouraging fellow young artists to grow in their craft and confidence.

Mohammed - 16yrs

Brooklyn, a 17-year-old DJ and entrepreneur, runs his own events company while studying electronics. With a natural passion for supporting, entertaining, and guiding others, he has spent much of his school and college holidays working with younger children who face a variety of challenges. His energy and creativity shine through both in his music and in his mentoring, where he finds genuine joy in helping others grow in confidence and happiness. For Brooklyn, the smiles, breakthroughs, and connections he experiences when working with people are his greatest reward, and this is the driving force that fuels his ambitions every day.
