Many children in mainstream schools face challenges on a daily basis where they are stigmatised based upon expectation from the schools administration. Many parents are left to deal with these administrations without sufficient support or advice, this is a free service aimed to support those from challenging socio-economic backgrounds.

What do our Advocates do? Our Advocates can offer advice and support to a child, young person or parent. The main purpose of our advocates is to enable parents and young people to express their wishes and feelings to achieve an outcome beneficial to the development of that child or young person. We aim to encourage empowerment of parents, children and young people whilst upholding their human rights. Parents being called to schools for meetings about their children can often be an intimidating proposition, where appropriate or required we are happy to support parents at any meetings held within the school environment. We will ensure you as a parent are well sighted of policies and procedures that your childs school are governed by, far too often this type of information isn’t utilised to ensure accountability is evenly distributed and/or used to provide healthy environment for your child.
